Commemorative Centenary beer unveiled at Heineken factory

Valencia CF president Anil Murthy visited the HEINEKEN España factory on Friday, for the presentation of the ‘Amstel Centenari’ special edition beer that commemorates the club's 100 years of existence.
Murthy, joined by Valencia CF legends Miguel Tendillo and Miguel Ángel Bossio, was in attendance for the unveiling of a collectors bottle with a 'sleever' displaying the lyrics of the 'Amunt Valencia' anthem, as well as a special edition bottle which fans will be able to personalise with their name and story.
"Amstel is a beer brewed in Valencia by and for Valencians since 1947 -the year in which the club won its third LaLiga title," explained the VCF president. "This year we have experienced unique moments with Amstel, such as the mascletá that turned the sky orange on our Centenary day. I'm sure that Amstel will be at the forefront in the party that we will have on May 25th, the day on which we all hope to celebrate winning the Copa del Rey."
“The fans are the foundation of the club, and they are going to tell their personal story in Amstel's brilliant initiative. Valencia CF wish to congratulate them on this way of getting closer to the fans in the commemoration of our Centenary."
Asked about the remainder of the 2018/19 season, Murthy explained that: "In two days' time we have a vital game. Over four weeks we will be playing a minimum of seven finals, and I hope that it will be eight. It's a very exciting season, thanks to the great work done by our team and our coach, and the strong support from our fans."
